Born in Velingrad in 1953. Two higher educations from the University of Forestry and the University of National and World Economy in Sofia plus courses in management and in marketing and quality management. Manager of the factory for toys "Veli 97" Ltd. Family, with two children.
1. Several management teams have changed over the past 13-14 years, which have not lived up to people's hopes. Partisanship, the service of private and group interests to the detriment of the general, ill-concealed benefit of power has seriously affected the prestige and authority of local self-government. Unfortunately, our municipality was overtaken in its development by a number of municipalities with much more modest opportunities. The reason is one - unsatisfactory quality of management. A decisive and comprehensive change is needed.
2. There is a general dissatisfaction with the way the municipality is run. The lack of an overall development strategy determines the downward development of the municipality of Velingrad in all its activities: municipal property management, privatization of the same, municipal administration management, urban planning and architecture, infrastructure, industry, environmental protection, education, health, sports, balneological, cultural and rural tourism, etc. I would change the municipality by preparing a long-term, science-based strategy focusing on the full transparency and publicity of municipal affairs.
3. It is characterized by bureaucratic tardiness and disorganization, as well as placing the population depending on the Municipal Council. Forgetting the beautiful election promises and giving the insults a day after the election victory. Impotence in respect of all activities so necessary for the municipality. We need a radical change in the office and the organization of the Municipal Council and the mayoral administration, civil society participation in the government through actual polls and referendums. 4. Above all, it is necessary to create new municipal companies to serve municipal activities, to better and better serve the population and create revenue for the municipality. Both sites need serious investment. It is necessary for the municipality to develop options for their development to be presented to discussion by the population of the municipality of Velingrad.
5. I have a management team that includes people with proven professional and practical experience. A team ready to accept the challenges of Bulgaria's accession to the European Union.
