Under this title came out the monograph about Angel Uzunov - the Rakitova pedagogue with creative contribution to the Bulgarian and European pedagogy. Author of the historical-pedagogical study, published by University Publishing House "St. Kliment Ohridski", is Assoc. Yordan Kolev from SWU "N. Rila" - Blagoevgrad.
In the preface to the book, the author notes that the development of the problems of educational interactions between people of different generations was done primarily through a study of the works of A. Uzunov and of famous classics of pedagogical thought: Pestalozzi, Kant, Makarenko, Dekroli, Korczak, etc.
His in-depth research work Assoc. Kolev has structured in the sequence characterizing the monographic work. The first chapter "Pedagogical feat" presents the life, pedagogical activity and work of Angel Uzunov as the emphasis falls on drama in his life and creative path, of which 38 years are devoted to working with difficult children who have temporarily fallen into difficulties and the desire to assure them that they are "no one".
The second chapter Pedagogical ode analyzes the studies on the capital composition of A. Uzunov - "Life without recess. Zipiski on one pedagogue" and the second part "Self-made children of ours". These notes are desktop books for future educators from universities in Sofia, Plovdiv and Blagoevgrad, who learn from them how to treat the twisted sick children's soul.
In the next section, Pedagogical Status, the results of a comparative historical-pedagogical analysis of classic educators and philosophers are analyzed to determine the role and contribution of A. Uzunov in the history of education.
The messages of the sage Angel Uzunov to today's and tomorrow's people - children, parents, teachers, can be read in the emotional conclusion of the book.
A long time ago, A. Uzunov was declared an honorary citizen of Rakitovo, and for the publication of this monograph the Municipal Council - Rakitovo granted 1000 leva. Teacher T's daughter. Uzunova shared that there are more unpublished stories and materials in her father's archives.
I don't like teaching, but I think it's useful for any teacher to read A's notes. Uzunov and the monograph of Assoc. Kolev to make it clear whether he is ready to see himself as A. Uzunov: "A live torpedo - choosing his profession, the educator also accepts the risk of his own destruction - personal and even physical; so great and all-consuming is the work of educating the child."
