BSP shows readiness for power

The 45th Congress of the BSP gave a positive answer to the questions whether the party is ready to govern Bulgaria, is the leader Sergey Stanishev ready to take responsibility as Prime Minister and is the BSP ready to elect a strong government without enslavement of cadres with a party ticket.
The opinion is of the President of BSP - Velingrad Toma Pachalov, with whom we talked after the return of the delegates from the congress on April 9 and 10 in Plovdiv. The holding of the party forum in Plovdiv 100 years after 1904, when the socialists also met there and the departure of the candidate-deputies for their constituencies precisely from the Unification Square bear a certain symbol, T believes. Pachalov. A very strong impression was made by the unconventional way of holding the congress, the hall without special places for the familiar presidium, the presence of the members of the Supreme Council and officials among the 700 delegates and over 1000 guests. The biggest echo was the presence and statement of the leader of KT "Podkrepa" Konstantin Trenchev, who for the first time attended a BSP congress and stressed that the party has a vision for the situation of the people and should tell them in the eyes the truth that we are waiting for "sweat and tears". The presence of diplomatic missions from Europe and the United States was also strong. Along with the statements of the authors of BSP's management projects, there were also critical words such as that of Gen. L. Petrov. Leader Sergey Stanishev has clearly stated the party's readiness to govern Bulgaria after a landslide victory in the elections. Regarding the already established list of BSP candidates for our constituency, Mr. Pachalov explained that as the second largest municipality in the region of Velingrad, he had pretensions for a higher place (currently the list leads Georgi Pirinski, and the representative of Velingrad associate professor Dr. Ivan Paligorov is in 11th place). But the list is arranged on the basis of support ratio for BSP from the previous elections, and according to him, Velingrad is in 9th place out of 11 municipalities in the district. In case of victory, our representative can get realization on another level, Toma Pachalov is convinced, moreover, that the management project of BSP envisages that the forests are not an appendage to the agrarian ministry.
