BZNS-NS works for right-wing coalition

The regional organization of BZNS-NS hosted on June 12 and 13 a meeting of the Management Board and the annual celebration of the anniversary of the death of agricultural leader Alexander Stamboliyski in Slavovitsa. The regional chairwoman of BZNS-NS Ekaterina Kaferinova summarized the more important topics discussed during the two days.
The Management Board of the BZNS-NS has made an analysis of possible coalition configurations between the parties from the center and the right political space. Farmers have discussed with what partners they have guarantees of entry and a more tangible presence in the next National Assembly. The meeting of right-wing forces in Budapest was also analyzed, and the assessment of the BZNS-NS was that despite the lack of a final agreement, the necessary dialogue was conducted. At the Budapest meeting, the right-wing parties outlined what unites them and what divides them and concluded that the ideas and principles that unite them are more than the dividing lines.
By decision of the Board, the BZNS-NS began negotiations separately, and so far serious talks have been held with the SDS and IMRO. An option for independent participation of the BZNS-NS in the next parliamentary elections has not been discussed, said Mrs. cafferinova. The party will build a coalition on the principle of equality, and the option with which it participates in the mayoral elections in Sofia in tandem with the DP and Gergyovden is also possible.
Ekaterina Kaferinova stressed that the BZNS-NS is the only right-wing formation that has already managed to gather the other right-wing parties on two occasions. First at the Supreme Council in April in Sofia, and now at the celebrations of Slavovitsa, where guests were the leaders of SDS Stefan Sofiyanski and VMRO Krasimir Karakachanov, the vice-chairman of the PDS Yordan Nihrizov from BSDP, Emil Yordanov from SDS, Panayot Lyakov from DSB and others. While tensions appear between almost each of the other right-wing forces, the BZNS-NS has no differences with any of them individually, Ms. Kaferinova summarized.
The Board has also discussed the topic of the missing grain in the State Reserve and it has been concluded that this is a drain in favor of DPS companies. BZNS-NS will want the exact parameters under the chapter "Agriculture", as it believes that the public is kept in the dark about what has been agreed with the EU and there are doubts that the quotas of farmers and tobacco growers are not protected.
