The Chepinets-Beev football club wants 4000 leva from the municipality to continue its participation in the autumn round of the championship after the financial support for the team withdrawn from Fidel Beev. This is one of the proposals that the Municipal Council will consider on September 29.
Instead of the promised session on sports, the Municipal Council has formulated only a point on the agenda: "Accepting decisions for improving the activity of sports clubs and the development of sports in the municipality of Velingrad." The Committee on Education, Culture and Sport will meet before the September 27 session at 4 p.m.
So far, only the proposals for the already discussed creation of a united sports club and the requested financial assistance from Chepinets-Beev have been officially received. The chairman of the Municipal Council, Nejat Kehayov, announced that he would propose that more points be given to companies that sponsor sports or school in competitions. If no decisions are reached on 29 September, the councillors are also prepared to hold an extraordinary session on the sport.
