The period of control meetings has begun and the Velingradians have already played two games. The first control was on 30.01. (Wednesday) with the team of "Rodopa" (Smolyan), which is played in Kaloyanovo, Plovdiv. Against the leader in the Southeastern "V" group, the players of "Chepinets-Beev" played well, although the opponent led in the score. In the second part, ours were definitely superior and logically came to an alignment through P. Chavdarov. Later, T. Hajiyev scored a second goal, but it was cancelled because of a controversial ambush. 18 players took part in the match, impressing the return of P. Shumanov and the trial of the youth Georgi Manchorov from Pazardzhik, and the local youth Georgi Krivulev, who was attracted this year by the youth team.

On 02.02. (Saturday) in Varvara "Chepinets-Beev" game against adolescents st. age of "Slavia" and beat them 4-1. Several new footballers from Pazardzhik, Vetren, Belovo and Varvara were tried in this match. Which of them will remain for sure in the team will become clear later when the coaches decide what kind of players they need.
The two controls for various reasons did not take part D. Chonkov, N. Milenov, G. Nalbantov and B. Murtin. Mitko Chonkov refused to play because he did not agree with the management of the team to satisfy some of its conditions. N. Milenov hopes to play in another team from a higher group and is currently waiting. D. Nalbantov is ill, and B. Murtin is injured.
Coaches D. Murtin and M. Vaklinov are satisfied with the diligence of the players during training and in control meetings. The gradual entry into form and physical condition is evident, with success various tactical options are tried. Two more controls are scheduled this week - on 06.02. with Armeec in Plovdiv. If this match fails, it will be played once again with the juniors of "Slavia". On 09.02. has an arrangement for control with the team of Spartak (Plovdiv). Until the end of the preparation it is possible to play one match with the team of "Metalik" (Sopot).
