The draw for the second round in the Bulgarian Cup determined the players of "Chepinets-Beev" to face the most highly performing team in the "A" group and leader in the standings - "Lokomotiv" Pd.
There is an interesting clash between the coaches of both teams. In the past, A. Pashev and E. Eranosyan were rivals on the field when they played in the Plovdiv derbies between Botev (then Trakiya) and Loko Pd. Now they will meet as opponents, but this time from the position of coaches.
Coach Edward Eranosian's players have not lost a match since the beginning of the championship and only superlatives are written and spoken of for their game. In this round of the tournament, two matches are already played in an exchanged household. In the first meeting, which is on October 28 (Tuesday) at 14.30, the Chepinets-Beev team will be the host. The exact date for the rematch has not yet been determined. A meeting of the Sports and Technical Commission of the Professional Football League is forthcoming and the most convenient day will be chosen. According to League Secretary Ljube Spasov, he will be elected between 19 and 29 November. The Cup matches also necessitated some changes in the program of the "V" groups. The match of Round XIII between Chepinets-Beev and Levski (Dolna Banya) will be played on October 31 (Friday) in Velingrad. And in the match of the next round, when Chepinets-Beev hosts again, the Velingradians will play against Lyulin Sf on November 5 (Wednesday).
