Scandal preceded the derby match between Chepinets-Beev and Kovachevo, which was played at the stadium in Rakitovo. The scheduled start time (14.30) was changed on Tuesday (5 November) and scheduled for 14.00. It turned out that information about this change had not arrived at Chepinets-Beev FC. In Velingrad no one knew that the match would be played half an hour earlier. There was a possibility that the guests from Kovachevo would win ex officio if the meeting did not start at at least 2:20 p.m. In the end, the match started at 14.15, but there was doubt that anyone had an interest in creating tension in the team of Veligradians and this to affect their game. Tension really created because the players of "Chepinets-Beev" literally from the bus went out on the field and almost without warm-up started the meeting.

The match was also attended by Mr. Dobri Peev, who did not want to go into details about the received misunderstanding, but only said that it was sent to the club telegram, and why it was not received, the blame to be sought in the mail!!! Quite a strange reasoning of a football boss, who then tried to shift the blame to the organization in the city club. Nevertheless, the match went on tense and with enough intrigue for a derby-date. The initial pressure of the Velingradians was contained by Kovatchevo's fugbolists, who tried to kill the pace and with a well-worn defense calmly parryed the attacks of "Chepinets-Beev". That was up to 20 minutes, when after centering on A. Kovatchevo's raspberry goalkeeper ineptly tried to knock the ball out and it fell into D. Chonkov, who, with a solid punch, opened the scoring. In the following minutes, the symbolic hosts inexplicably came home and allowed blacksmiths to move into more forward positions. In 25 minutes. Kalinov from Kovachevo was left uncovered and with a diagonal blow equalized. The ball went through a hole in the net, but it was well seen that it was a goal - 1:1. The second part passed entirely under the dictation of the Velingradians, who had decided at all costs to take the three points. Their pressure was crowned with success in 60 minutes, when the most thoughtful was V. Kadyov and intercepted a ricocheted ball after a hit by D. Kehayov. The most beautiful moment of the match was the third goal scored by T. Kalpakov at 81 min. He made a long parabole shot to the goal and the ball unscathed fell into the net - 3:1.
