This football championship started with a number of changes at Chepinets. A new president was elected in the person of the businessman Fidel Beev, a new board with the participation of Krasimir Beev and the mayor Dr. Dafov, a new coaching leadership of the men's team composed of the tandem D. Murtin and M. Vaklinov. Finally began and so the expected renovation of the city stadium. The selection of the team included exclusively local players, which was also one of the wishes of the coaches. In the matches participated exactly 24 footballers: goalkeepers - S. Bozhkov and P. The undoubted rise of the team is due to both the long-time coach N. Popchev and one of the benefactors - P. Blagov, who appears as a major player and even a goalscorer.
