"Chepinets" started the spring half-season in the championship of the Southwest "V" group with a convincing victory over the team of "Velbuzhd" Kyustendil. At the city stadium in Velingrad, the hosts prevailed 4-0 and hinted that brighter days could be expected for the team. The beginning was not good for the Chepinets team because only up to 2 min. guests had twice the opportunity to discover the result. Thanks to the excellent interventions of goalkeeper E. Zlatanov the door of the Velingradians remained dry. Heavy flooded terrain and many puddles created problems for the players, but nevertheless the hosts gradually pressed their rivals and logically it came to 30 minutes when the teenager I. Geshev with a blow on the diagonal opened the score.
After the break, the superiority of Chepinets continued and quite naturally came to the convincing victory. In 63 minutes. C. Kyurkchiev took advantage of a mistake of the Kyustendil goalkeeper and made 2-0. In 85 minutes. the best on the field D. Chonkov broke alone through the center and scored a third goal. In the last minutes, the player just entered Game A. Boikinov led with a precise pass Yu. Kozov and he shaped the score at 4:0.
