A day of reflection is approaching before the election, in which we voters must, as the hero of an ad, sink for at least 20 seconds into silence and reflect on what we are going to do on June 25. It's nice as part of the decision to first answer what we witnessed in the month leading up to the election:
A: on "a military march; a particular form of socio-political struggle; intensified economic activity during a certain time".
B: on "a performance with a fun and estrus program; a fun spectacle".
In: of "a meruption which aims to create great renown of something in order to attract buyers, spectators; the dissemination of information about someone in order to create for him renown, popularity; an advertisement, a poster, and many others".
Behind the answer "A" according to the dictionaries lies "campaign", behind the answer "B" - "show", and behind the answer "C" - "advertisement". Maybe you chose one answer, or maybe all three, because most parties compete for the voter's check in the integral ballot with some mixture of the three in different proportions.
In Velingrad, this race for now runs boring, without constructive provocation to voters, without zeal, by inertia and as a pale copy of what happened in the first years of democracy. On the surface, we saw little politics and little spectacle. However, they say that a lot of money is distributed under the surface. Because there is someone to give them for immunity, status and extras and because there is someone to sell their voice for money or other goodies. But the question is whether money should decide the election result, and hence the future of each of us.
All citizens who do not sell their vote can counter this ugly and insulting scam in only one way - by voting. But not for money, not for coercion or fear, not under a powerful foreign suggestion, but in the honest way: according to his advice, understandings and convictions. If we don't at least do that, we become complicit in the deal and let decisions about our future be made by those who buy and sell votes.
