Eng. Donka Kostadinova is the president of Donnie 59. He graduated from VHTI Sofia, specialty "Technology of Textiles". About her work, she is adamant: "This craft can only work if it comes from within, because without creativity and fantasy nothing happens." That is why she enrolled to study at the Chemical Institute, became a chemical engineer, because she was convinced that the more she knew about the materials she was working with, the better the work would be. During the first 6 years of the work of its tailoring company, orders of the Ministry of Defence are executed, orders of "Vratitsa" Vratsa, "Sofitext" Sofia and others follow. Permanent staff of the company are about 10 seamstresses and in larger and urgent orders their number increases. Sew upper and workwear, reflectors for the company "Shell"... Donka admits that she likes to sew men's shirts the most, although they are more labor-intensive and she is deservedly proud of the work of the company, because "The shirts sewn by us wear men in Italy, which speaks that our work is quality." About her work in the difficult years of the transition she says that if she had to start in this business now, she would think a lot. The reasons: the stagnation of the domestic market is very large and it is quite difficult to work, although this work gives a great field for expression. That is why she has oriented her company to work for export, although this also carries many risks and responsibilities: "When working for export, the deadlines are very short and the orders are large and the quality of workmanship must be at the "European level". Otherwise you lose the customer, and not only him." From one order to another, large breaks occur, i.e. There is a lack of order rhythm, which does not appeal to those working in this sphere. Therefore, the contracts that are signed with the workers are for part-time work - the number of working days per month multiplied by 8 hours, everything above these hours is paid extra.

The working capital is small, and if the payment of the order is late, it affects the timely payment of people's labor. As a basic condition of a good business, Donka places trust. It is worked exclusively on trust, if they become fouls, then they are at the expense of the president of the company, but "for so many years in this industry, it is already known who is how honorable." The other condition without which one cannot work is faith: "We are here because we continue to believe that times will get better. We work with small turnovers and capacity to ensure payment to the people in the company. Kostadinova expects to introduce protective duties for the Bulgarian producer and tax breaks so that foreign goods cannot illegally flood our market and prevent the Bulgarian small and medium businesses from developing.
