On July 23, a list of 1073 commercial companies was promulgated in the State Gazette, during the privatization of which payment with non-cash means of payment (such as compensatory records, compensation bonds, housing compensatory records) was allowed. The list is annual, payment by non-cash means refers to the current year 2002.
The list includes a total of 8 companies from the municipalities of Velingrad and Rakitovo. In each of them there are remaining minimum state shares, which can now be redeemed by holders of compensatory instruments. The big surprise is that the list is still 100% state-owned Chepino-les-99 EAD from the system of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. From it, for the type of sale with non-cash means of payment, the state announces 11,110 shares. It is noteworthy that in the long list there are only 11 entirely state-owned commercial companies, of which the principal is the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The move is definitely a surprise for those working in the system, whose expectations at the current stage are for the creation of a National Forest Company, not for privatization procedures.
