In a letter to the municipality, the Rector of VSU "Lyuben Karavelov" informed that Ilko Nikolov did not appear in their registers and the diploma in his name with number 074207/2001. was not issued by the educational institution and does not correspond to their documents. The municipality has made the examination of the diplomas of all engineers in the administration because of the legal situation that full design capacity is available to those whose higher education documents were issued before the date of 31 March 2001.
On the occasion of the outcome of the inspection last week, by a decision of the temporary mayor Atanas Vodev, the civil servant Ilko Nikolov was temporarily removed from office. We recall that Mr. Nikolov became head of the Cadastre, Regulation and Building Plans Department in the municipality during the term of Fidel Beev.
