ARR - Velingrad became a co-founder of "Bioproduct BG"
The Center for Business and Information and the Agency for Regional Development - Velingrad participated in the celebration of organic farming "Bioselena 2004". The celebration, at which CBI and RDA won a prestigious diploma last year, was held on September 18 in the capital with the participation of over 50 Bulgarian companies producing organic produce.
CBI and RDA participated in "Bioselena 2004" with increased self-esteem, as they have already received an eco-certificate for the wild fruits from which they prepare the famous "Sweet for connoisseurs". The long certification procedure for sweet and herbs is expected to be completed in the near future. The certificate is from the English company "Soil Association Limited" and as it is recognized worldwide, it ensures that the production can be sold as organically pure on the world market. For the first time at the celebration of organic farming was presented the non-governmental association "Bioproduct BG". It was founded 2 months ago and among its co-founders is the Agency for Regional Development - Velingrad. The main goal of the association will be to develop the internal market of organic production and create a marketing strategy. A project has already been won, which will be financed by Switzerland and includes opening a stand for biological produktion, creating a logo, part of marketing and recognition by the Ministry of Agriculture that "Bioproduct BG" is developing the domestic market. The association will fight for it to be the organization through whose control to pass the organic products entering the Bulgarian market from abroad.
