As we reported in the previous issue, the allocation of mandates for Pazardzhik constituency assigned 3 mandates to Coalition for Bulgaria, 2 to NMSS and one each to DPS, ODF and Ataka. The fate of the last ninth term was decided on the evening of June 28. Until last with the greatest chances for him was coalition BNS with leader of the list Nikolay Bozhilov, which had more votes than DSB in the region. But after another spin on the D'Ont method, the mandate was won by the BSP. So almost repeated the situation from the previous parliamentary elections, when D'Ont instead of 1 seat for DPS got 5 for NDSV.
Following the final decision of the CEC, Marko Mechev - until now Mayor of Panagyurishte, joined the list of MPs from our constituency from the list of Coalition for Bulgaria. The leader of the NDSV list Daniel Valchev preferred to be a Member of Parliament from the other region in which he ran - Dobrich. In its place Petya Gegova - until now Deputy Minister of Regional Development, entered from Pazardzhik. And the leader of the list of "Attack" Dr. Petar Beron did not want to be a member of parliament from Pazardzhik constituency, but preferred Sofia. Therefore, from here the voters of "Attack" send to parliament the historian Prof. Stanislav Stoilov, representative of the Zora political circle.
