The official position of the DPS for this elections in Velingrad is that we will call on our voters to vote their conscience, said during their visit to our city on August 28 the regional chairman of the movement Ahmed Hadzhiyski. The decision of the DPS was made after an analysis of the situation in the municipality. Mr. Hadzhiyski commented with "This is his right" the position of MP from DPS Fidel Beev, who categorically declared in support of the candidate Stoyan Dulev.
Why on the second consecutive election for mayor in the municipality of Velingrad, which is the strongest municipality of DPS in the district, the movement does not nominate its candidate? To this question Ahmed Hadzhiyski replied: "At the present moment, this is the solution. Alive and healthy, in 2 years for the regular elections we will take a more serious decision".
