On 6 January in Velingrad was the regional leader of the DPS Ahmed Hadzhiyski, who held here an informal meeting with the MP Dr. Dzhevded Chakarov and some of the local leaders of the movement. My visit has no specific purpose, Ahmed Hadzhiyski announced and explained that the Central Operational Bureau of the movement will meet on January 11. Then it is expected to be decided on what date will be held a report-election conference of the municipal organization of DPS in Velingrad. The meetings of the organizations in Velingrad and in the mayoralties (except for two where there are difficult to overcome problems) are already over, and according to Mr. Hadzhiyski municipal conference it is possible to have by the end of this month.
This week the MRF is preparing to mark 15 years since its establishment with a lecture by the leader Ahmed Dogan, which all regional and municipal leaders will also listen to. Against this festive background, a decision will also be made on how to participate in the mayoral elections in Velingrad. Traditionally, the DPS is likely to announce its intentions shortly before the deadline for registration of applications - January 16.
