The reporting and election meeting of the MRF in the municipality of Rakitovo was held on May 29. It was honored by the heads of the headquarters for Pazaradzhiska oblast DPS MPs Dr. Dzhevdet Chakarov and Rasim Musa, the Burgas MP Nesrin Uzun, the chairman of the regional leadership Ahmed Hadzhiyski, the deputy governor Recep Mollaahmed, the chairman of the Municipal Council of DPS - Velingrad Nedzhat Kehayov, the mayor of Rakitovo Georgi Mihaylov and guests from neighboring municipalities.
Before proceeding to the election of a new municipal and control board of DPS, the current chairman of the movement and mayor of the village. Kostandovo Momchil Imamov read a report on the activities of the structures in the municipality. He made a feature of the past elections for local councils in Rakitovo, Kostandovo and Dorkovo by noting the low activity in Dorkovo. Dissatisfaction was expressed about the dependence for implementing decisions of the DPS in the region from Rakitovo and directing their members to work with other parties, which weakens the unity and effectiveness of the work of the DPS. Mr. Imamov expressed satisfaction with the work with the other political parties, at the local level and with the media. He paid special attention to the main problem in the municipality - unemployment, which affects a huge part of the DPS electorate.
Criticism Mr. Imamov also addressed the Mayor of Rakitovo Municipality G. Mihailov that he visited Kostandovo 3 times for 10 minutes and that the Municipal Council cancelled their proposals. But he expressed hope that the three municipal councilors from the DPS list would work on the problems of the electorate.
Mr G was the first to speak on the rapporteur's presentation. Mihailov, who said that he has always worked well with the members of the MRF, urged those present to work together to solve municipal problems, not to divide them into someone's electorates and wished success to the new leadership.
Attitudes to the problems posed were taken by Mr. Rasim Musa, Mr. Nejat Kehayov, Mr. Recep Mollaahmed, Dr. Chakarov. All of them outlined the possibilities of getting out of unemployment through microcredit, developing agriculture, developing projects, inclusion in the Western Rhodopes development program. The good relations with the BSP and President Parvanov's empathy for the problems of this population were noted. All called for united work and efforts in the search for any opportunities to get out of the crisis.
The assembly proceeded with the election of a municipal leadership. By open vote, the 37 delegates present elected Mr. Youssain Sidev as Chairman of the Municipal Council of the MRF. The same was recently elected leader of the Rakitovo organization, so an emergency meeting will soon be scheduled to elect the chairman of the DPS in Rakitovo.
Also by open vote were elected three members of the Municipal Council: Mr. Drikov, Mr. Imamov and Mr. Durlyov respectively from Rakitovo, Kostandovo and Dorkovo. Mr. Hajiyev, Mr. Al, joined the Control Council. Imamov and Mr. C. Kushlov. Delegates for the DPS regional conference were also voted.
At the end of the meeting, the mayor of Kostandovo M. Imamov gave to the attendees the advertising brochure "Welcome to Kostandovo", authored by him and announced that the membership of the MRF in the municipality has increased by 12 people to whom membership books were given.
