Two new to OIC

18.01.2005 12:05 •
Two of the current members of the Municipal Election Commission (OIC) were replaced last week, said chairwoman Ivanka Stancheva.
On January 11, the Central Commission for Local Elections (CECMI) decided to remove Galya Kyuleva from the composition of the OIC - Velingrad. A request for this came from the Coalition for Bulgaria - the political formation from whose quota G. Kyuleva was named a member of the committee. The reason is that Ms. Kyuleva is undergoing a criminal case with a charge that she, in her capacity as an official, took a bribe from F. Beev. In place of G. Kyuleva from the quota of Coalition for Bulgaria in OIC - Velingrad enters Ivan Bandakov, a member of BSP. Lawyer Petar Hrischev is also no longer a member of the OIC. He applied for exemption to the UDF, from whose quota he was on the committee. Mr. Hrischev argued for his large employment during the period of the partial elections for mayor. The vacant place in the OIC is entered by the proposed by the UDF Reni Trenova.
