"Electricity Distribution - Plovdiv" EAD requests urgent intervention from the Municipality of Velingrad to remove the illegally built cable networks of SD "Breja Beevi". This is done on the basis of a final and non-appealable decision of the District Court - Pazardzhik, which revokes 5 orders of the Mayor of the municipality of Velingrad, which approved the development schemes for air cable network for distribution of television and radio signals of SD "Bevi Brothers".
The orders were issued on December 31, 2003. by the then temporary mayor Angel Toporchev. They approved the air cable networks of "BBTV" in the three neighborhoods of Velingrad and in the village of Draginovo. In turn, Energodistribution - Plovdiv EAD has filed an appeal before the court requesting that the orders be declared unlawful. The complaint is also maintained by the District Prosecutor's Office, and the Municipality of Velingrad has not expressed an opinion. In June 2005. A three-judge panel of the District Court has ruled that it overturns the five unlawful orders. The decision is motivated by the carried out expertise, which has proved that the projects of the approved construction schemes for the cable networks lack coverage of the distances of convergence between the air communications and power lines. Throughout the route, the definition of spacing between overhead ducts has not been complied with, and even in many places they intersect. In violation of the ZUT there is no coordination of the development schemes before their submission for approval with "Electricity Distribution - Plovdiv" EAD. On the basis of the court decision, the head of Electrodistribution Pazardzhik Mr. St. Apostolov in a letter to the municipality of Velingrad last week pointed out that the illegally built cable networks of the Beevi Brothers SD should be urgently removed, as they cause dangerous and disturbing electromagnetic influence of the existing power lines. The letter asking for assistance was also sent to the head of RDNSC - Pazardzhik.
