The Plovdiv Directorate of the Agency for State Internal Financial Control (ADVFC) imposed a fine of 1000 levs on the former vrid mayor of the Municipality of Velingrad Stoyan Dulev.
In the inspection carried out by experts of the agency, it was found that in 2004. in his capacity as interim mayor, Stoyan Dulev has not conducted a public procurement for the supply of electrical materials worth BGN 19,619 excluding VAT. Mr. Dulev has not fulfilled his obligations under the Public Procurement Act and also a decision of the Municipal Council.
As this was the first violation found, the former vrid mayor by penal decree of 27 July 2005. The minimum fine of 1000 leva was imposed to be paid in favor of the state budget. The order can be appealed to the District Court - Velingrad.
