Sports Dance Club "Impulse" finished in second place at the held in Sliven State Team Sports Dance Championship on October 23 (Saturday). This is the second consecutive participation of our team after a year earlier we qualified 4th. In a competition of seven qualifying for the final team, Impulse ranked second. First were the representatives of "Burgas-75", and besides our top three formed the contestants from OKST "Sliven".
Impulse participated with five pairs at the tournament in the five age groups. These were:in 11-year-old Hristo Grchki - Diana Luchkova, up to 13 years old. Spas Tsanov - Elena Buchkova, up to 15 years old. Ivan Spassov - Elitsa Grigorova, until 19. Evgeni Popov - Gergana Kasapska, and over 19 years old. Hristo Minev - Maria Tomova, who are from Plovdiv, but compete for "Impulse".
In parallel with the State Team Championship in the sports hall "Vasil Levski" in Sliven was held and round of the tournament for the Cup of Bulgaria. Only one couple took part in it from Impulse, Evgeni Popov - Gergana Kasapska, who in the age group up to 19. They took fifth place, and over 19-year-olds came fourth.
Nikolay Stoynov
