In the interim round on 29.09. Velingradians visited Pazardjik at Hebar and lost with the minimum 1:2. They had the opportunity to even reach the draw, but a chance at the door had Z. Surtev and B. Vlaikov. The only goal for "Chepinets" was scored by D. Chonkov at the beginning of the second half.
In the match against the leader "Miner" no one thought that a miracle could happen and the players of coach Mitko Vaklinov can reach at least partial success. The game in the first half, however, showed that guests came quite sure of their success and approached with neglect to the meeting. However, it was seen that the Miner players were more capable and more sophisticated. The hosts resisted successfully until the end of the first part, but just then a misunderstanding in the defense led to the first goal in the door of I. Tufekchiev. After the break it was a matter of time to see how many more goals would go into the door of “Chepinets” and to the relief of the small audience they were only two.
