"Velingrad - A Look Ahead" is called the election program of the coalition "For the Municipality of Velingrad", which was presented at the opening of the campaign on September 26. The program comes out in a luxury color booklet, in which more than 30 pages outline the main problems of the municipality and the ways to solve them, set priorities and set a development strategy over the next 4 years. In the Art Gallery the candidate-mayor of the coalition "For the Municipality of Velingrad" Dr. Tsvetan Dafov presented the highlights of the program to members and supporters of the parties of the coalition: UDF, BZNS-NS, DS, NSDP, "Gergyovden", BSD and SDS. He stressed that many people have worked on the program and it can be a foundation in the work for years to come. Dr. Dafov briefly presented his intentions for the development of the three neighborhoods and the conceptual project for the completion of the Cultural House. "I did my best to implement the election program of 1999. If you think this government is good, don't replace it with an unknown!" the candidate mayor concluded his speech. To continue what we have done, urged the leader of BZNS-NS Ekaterina Kaferinova.
The support of the medical community in the SDS expressed Dr. Savova. A speech was also made by the MP Panayot Lyakov, who emphasized the danger of a return of the left rule, to which BSP and MRF were assigned. At the opening of the election campaign were presented the candidates for mayors of the coalition parties and the lists for municipal defendants of UDF and BZNS-NS.
