The price per square meter of agricultural land in the land of Velingrad moves about 1 lev. This was shown by the results of the open auction for properties held on November 28 in the localities of Buchimi (next to Kamenitsa - Draginovo road) and Kalachev Bridge.
The municipality's intentions are to develop production activities within these territories. The several auctions already held are a way to clear unfinished business under the notorious paragraph 4 - most of the buyers play for lands on which there are their buildings. With a minimum bid of one step (10 leva) on November 28 three properties of 590 sq.m. in m. Buchimi won Veselin Chavdarov, who will have to pay the municipality a total of 1861 leva. Mr. Chavdarov explained that on these bare meadows he gives bread to 20 families. Candidates appeared for 5 more of the properties, which also won with a minimal rise above the starting price.
