The regular meeting of the Municipal Council will be held not on the predetermined date of June 30, but a day earlier. The reason is that on June 30 the majority of the councillors are called to appear as witnesses in the Pazardzhik District Court in a criminal case brought against the former interim mayor Stoyan Dulev. The case is related to the public procurement for waste disposal and unfulfilled by Mr. Dulev decisions of the Municipal Council on the case.
The agenda for June 29 is 36 points. The councillors will discuss several important documents: the municipal development plan, an ordinance for holding a tender or a competition to determine a concessionaire, an ordinance for the establishment of commercial companies with municipal participation, a plan for the work of the Municipal Council in the second half of the year, an action plan for the municipal strategy for child protection, an action plan for the air management program.
With regard to municipal enterprises, the audit report for VKTV from May 2005 will be considered. A new vision will be defined for the activity of the municipal Information Center for Small and Medium Business and for the joint-stock company Sutka-2000. Markets and Markets is proposing fee changes that have not been updated since 2002. Special attention will be paid to the rehabilitation program of the municipal hospital, as well as to the request of "DCC-1" to build a health facility in the plot of the former polyclinic, which after privatization is privately owned.
At the meeting of the Operative Bureau, the request of "Parkings and Garages" to take out credit was refused, as the advisers asked to know the exact investment intentions of the company. A request for an extension of a lease in the building of the NP "Vincho Goranov" was also dropped, as councilors gave a proposal to review and extend already contracts. The proposal to re-open an ombudsman election was also not accepted.
In the day are also certification of the order book for hydropower plant "Vodev Chark", request of complex "Millennium" for redevelopment of an existing store in a gambling hall, transformation of kindergarten "Fantasia" into a united kindergarten.
