On November 9, in Velingrad, in the spirit of the old Bulgarian tradition, was "sanctified and blessed" Professional Information Center (PIC) at the Bureau of Labor. The opening ceremony was attended by: the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Mrs. Lydia Shuleva, Mr. Oleg Chulev - Head of the National Employment Service (NSS), Mrs. Rosalia Jeneva from the Regional Employment Service in Plovdiv and Mr. Dyanko Ivanov - Deputy Head of RSZ-Sofia, the Mayor of the Municipality Dr. Dafov, the Chairman of the Municipal Council Mr. N. Kehayov, municipal councilors, teachers and students.

The head of the Velingrad Labor Office Mr. Angel Achev thanked the NSW for the funding and methodical assistance, as well as the Center for Information and Publishing Activities of the NSW. Mr. Achev stressed that Velingrad has its own PIC also because of the help provided by our companies, to which he also thanked. These are: ET "Stela-97", ET "Tselev-91", "Demeko" Ltd., "Agro-Arapov", "Breadmaking and confectionery", ET "Iliyan Kolev", "Movezh" Ltd., ET "Salih Feyzichaush", ET "Angel Bozhkov", ET "Alben Bakardzhiev" and Bulbank. Addressing the attendees, Mr. Chulev stressed that this is the first PIC to meet all European requirements for such a center. He wished work fatigue to the employees in the center and congratulated the "boys and girls (students) as the most important guests". Ms. Shuleva stressed the importance and necessity of the opening of the PIC because "our goal is to encourage people to find work, even if it means to change their profession and because I believe very strongly in the healthy spirit and entrepreneurship of the Bulgarian." In parallel with the opening of the center the same day, a regional council of 16 labor bureau from Pazardzhik, Plovdiv and Smolyan region was held in Kamena BLC. Veska Bozhkova
