The municipality provided 4 premises behind the church in the quarter. Kamenitsa of the Historical Museum for free use for 3 years. The museum will use them as a repository and thus solve a problem that has existed for years. Currently, the museum, which is the only scientific institute in Velingrad, has 18,000 museum units distributed in the funds "Ethnography", "Archaeology", "Renaissance", "New and Contemporary History", "Art Fund". These are a huge number of documents, photographs, old printed books, household items, etc., for which special care must be taken. The museum building lacks storage facilities, a private house has been used for years and the municipality pays rent. However, a long time ago there was a large flood in the house, which damaged some of the materials and the problem with the stockyard came back on the agenda.
At the suggestion of the museum workers, the four municipal property premises with a total area of 130 sq.m., which were commercial sites, but have long been neglected and landless, will now be used as repositories.
