The decree does not specify exact amounts, but if these three road sections are restored, the crisis with transport from and to our city will be resolved to a large extent.
Separately, the Ministry of Finance grants money to the municipality of Velingrad for two roads: Velingrad - Kemera - Ablanitsa - Gorno Dabevo and Pashovo - Rohlevo - Birkovo - Krastava. The municipality has submitted projects for the repairs of these roads worth from 4 to 10 million levs, but the exact amounts here are not yet clear. On August 26, the Permanent Commission for Protection of the Population in Disasters and Accidents at the Council of Ministers allocated 145 186 leva to the municipality of Velingrad. This money is intended to overcome the effects of the floods in late June and early July in Velingrad and Draginovo. The funds are mainly for repairs of 31 streets in Velingrad (78,000 leva) and for restoration works in Draginovo (32,960 leva).
