The municipal company reminds all subscribers that the theft of water, illegal inclusion in the water transmission or sewerage network is already being charged as a criminal act. Such is the deliberate failure of water meters for the purpose of misreading, as well as other similar attacks on meters. The penalties are up to 3 years imprisonment and a fine of up to BGN 15,000, and in case of repeated violation, a prison term of up to 10 years and a fine of BGN 20,000.
