The first official visit of Nadezhda Mihailova to Velingrad took place on 8 June this year. The leader of the UDF failed to visit the church in the district. Commencement, although there was a meeting planned there. In the hall of the Art Gallery she met with the local asset of the Blues and with citizens, to which she presented the candidates-deputies of ODF: the excme of Pazardzhik Dr. Ivan Kolchakov, the leader of DROM Iliya Iliev, the regional chairmen of UDF Nikola Penchev, of "Gergyovden" Luka Belyov and of DP Nikolay Vasilev and others. The host of the meeting was Dr. Tsvetan Dafov, who is also on the candidate-deputy list.
Nadezhda Mihailova outlined three options for the upcoming elections. The first is related to the BSP's ambitious request for an absolute majority and means that we will reach the EU standard within 100 years and at the cost of 14 billion levs, but not from the BSP's treasury, but from the pocket of every Bulgarian. The second option is keeping the status quo, boxing the reforms and already given a yellow card by the EU. The third option is for the UDF to win a mandate for a right-wing government. There are people in Bulgaria who do not want to join the EU because chaos is holding them back, but the UDF has invested 15 years in the European path. Mrs. Mihaylova called for a high voter turnout, which would not be in favor of the BSP, because it is a sin for the fate of our country to be decided only by the vote of the adults. Dr. Kolchakov explained the UDF's offer to voters: it is unattractive, it does not promise impossible things like the BSP, but it is promising. Right-wing politics works by giving freedom to the people and to their initiative. Now doing business in Bulgaria is like participating in a marathon with obstacles, it should not be politicians who set the agenda of the business, but vice versa.
According to Iliya Iliev, for the first time in these elections in Pazardzhik region, it will be shown that Roma votes can be united. Minorities should not be tolerated and given concessions, they should be helped because they cannot do it themselves and the ODF has a program how to do it.
The hardest question N had to answer. Mihyaylova, was how the pieces of the right will come together and who will invite the UDF to power on June 26. The right went through a very serious crisis, but the question of the pieces should be asked to those who left the UDF, Mihailova said and recalled that none of the 78 blue mayors left the party. The ODF's ambition is not to be invited, but to invite them. I have no intention of being anyone's crutch, the goal is to restore people's faith in the UDF, the blue leader was adamant. ODS is a single political player from 8 parties, who is not struggling to jump the barrier, but to get a mandate to govern, was convinced and Dr. Kolchakov.
