A decade after he was deputy mayor in the team of Georgi Avramov for several months, Nikola Vetsov is again the same post, but this time in the team of Stoyan Dulev.
Mayor Dulev appointed N. Vecov on the vacant third place for deputy mayor of the municipality of Velingrad on the first day of the past week. Municipal property, spatial planning, ecology, cleanliness and economic activities - these are the portfolios for which the new deputy mayor will be responsible. Currently Nikola Vetsov is a doyen by age in the management of the executive power in the municipality. Doyen is also experienced in municipal affairs: except as a deputy mayor he has 8 years of experience as a municipal councilor. Initially entered the local parliament from the list of BSP, he was also the leader of the red party. In his next term he was elected as an independent councilor and headed the leadership of the group "For the Municipality of Velingrad" that existed in the previous Municipal Council. To this must be added his experience from the army, as he is an officer, a Moscow graduate and firmly believes that the army has given him much as a managerial potential.
Do not look in my appointment policy, stated Nikola Vecov for c. "Tempo" in response to the logical question whether it represents the BSP, whose member it continues to be. He explained that his decision to accept the post was related to the belief that with more operational leadership he could solve the problems in those critical portfolios. "I will seek improvement of the activities of municipal enterprises and companies and whatever depends on the subjective management, I will do it," the new deputy mayor N. Vecov. With the appointment of N. Vecov the leadership of the municipality - mayor and three deputy mayors is now fully completed. So far, the municipality has worked predominantly with two and very rarely with three deputy mayors. However, given how many problems they weigh to solve before the local authorities in Velingrad, there is definitely work for everyone and it remains to be done.
