The new deputy mayors have started work

10.01.2005 22:32 •
Three deputy mayors were appointed to the team of the new interim mayor Atanas Vodev in the past week: Eng. Tanya Goncheva, arch. Eli Glaveeva and Mehmet Karamolla. On January 7, Recep Hodzhov met with Atanas Vodev and his powers as deputy mayor were terminated by mutual consent. Ms. Goncheva gained managerial experience as a director of the municipal company Stroycom - a post from which she was removed at the request of former Mayor F. Beev. She is vice-president of the municipal structure of UDF - Velingrad. Architect Eli Glaveeva has an internship in Municipal Administration, including as Chief Architect of the municipality during the term of Mayor Georgi Avramov. Mehmed Karamolla is a tax officer and is the chairman of the DPS organization in the town of Sarnitsa.
In view of the upcoming elections, the question of who will serve as the secretary of the municipality is particularly important. It turns out that for more than a month the municipality of Velingrad has no secretary, as the acting Yanka Petrova has been transferred to another position as head of department. The holder of the position of secretary is Eng. Stoyanka Karpacheva, who is on maternity leave, but can take over the responsible work of holding the elections. It is expected that Todor Enev will return to his post as chief architect. He won the case against the municipality for his dismissal from former mayor F. Beev. The appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court was suspended and soon Arch. Enev will start working.
