Mayor On October 4, the first year of Mayor Stoyan Dulev's rule expired. On the grounds that he would report through the media to his constituents, Mr. Dulev refused to submit a report to the Municipal Council. However, there was no press conference on the occasion of the anniversary either.

Exactly one week after the discovery of the sundial in the courtyard of PGITT "Al. Konstantinov", he suffered from vandals. During the night of Tuesday against Wednesday, the signs with useful information, located in the cozy corner around the clock, were broken. The school has already set up security cameras to avoid such incidents.

The Social Assistance Directorate started giving away some of the clothes that first-graders from socially disadvantaged families will receive. The clothes are in three sizes, the sports outfits and shoes are expected to arrive.

The Court of Auditors launched a parallel audit on the audit report for the municipality of Velingrad, taking into account how the money was spent to overcome the damage from last summer's floods.

The third meeting was held at which the municipality and the company "Ferratel" presented to businessmen from the tourism industry the idea of an advertising terminal in the center of Velingrad. So far, 10 of the total 50 or 60 advertising fields have been purchased from the terminal, and in order to start construction of the facility it is necessary to prepay at least 30 flights of 300 leva per year.

An exhibition with paintings from the gallery's collection is arranged in the Art Gallery. Sails of famous Bulgarian artists such as Encho Pironkov, Andrei Daniel, Lyuben Kostov, Angel Pachamanov, as well as of Velingrad artists such as Stoyan Belev, Maria Beleva, Branko Manushev are shown.
BUILDINGS On October 6, the deadline expired, in which the municipality had to make a list of all old buildings in Velingrad that are crumbling and are dangerous for the health and life of citizens. Committee chaired by Arch. Todor Enev drew up the list, which has about 70 sites. These are mostly private buildings, about 15 of them need reconstruction, and 3-4 are subject to demolition.
