CLEAN "Stroycom" started the autumn cleaning of Velingrad, which is carried out on schedule: for Kamenitsa - 20 and 23 October, for Chepino - 26 and 27 October, for Ludgene 17, 24 and 25 October. The company appeals to citizens to collect garbage from the yards in polyethylene bags. Within the framework of the autumn cleaning campaign, Stroycom cars will not transport construction waste.

The Municipality of Velingrad received 16 000 leva for the organization and conduct of the presidential elections. For the first round on 22 October, Sunday, the integral ballots and transparent ballot boxes have already arrived. The final number of voters for Velingrad is 20 050, and for the whole municipality 34 141 people with voting rights out of the total population 45 598. On Monday, members of all sectional committees went through training.

CENTRE On October 11, an educational center for children and parents was opened in Rakitovo, which will integrate students from all ethnic minorities in the municipality. The center is built on a project of the Rakitovo Foundation "Future", which has won a project under the SPA program before the Peace Corps. It has meeting rooms with parents, a library, a computer room and rooms for out-of-school activities.

Father Anton from the Kamen church "Holy Trinity" on October 10 celebrated the panahida for Vlado Chernozemski on the occasion of the anniversary of his death. There were members of IMRO from Velingrad and Pazardzhik, as well as guests from the Macedonian Society, which last year donated to Velingrad a plaque of the champion.
