DONATION Library to Community Center "V. Levski” in kv. Kamenica received a donation. On behalf of the International Women's Business Club, books donated wives to the ambassadors of Mongolia and Argentina, who visited Velingrad on Babinden. The ladies had also prepared a gift for the first baby born in Velingrad in 2005. The library also received books from Mrs. Yuliana Tomova from the Bulgarian Bestseller Publishing House.

THEATRE On January 20, the amateurs from the theatre collective at the community center "Otets Paisiy" visited the stage of Drama Theatre "Konstantin Velichkov" in Pazardzhik. Our theatres presented their latest production "Mr. Puntila and his servant Matti" by Berthold Brecht.

SESSION A regular meeting of the Municipal Council will be held on January 27. The main burden of the work of the session will be on the adoption of three important ordinances. The city council will also report on its activities over the past year.

The control bodies of the Regional Health Insurance Fund - Pazardzhik have carried out in December 2004. 73 inspections of medical care providers. For the established violations of doctors and health institutions fines amounting to BGN 3200 were imposed. In December, 11 written complaints from citizens were submitted to the Health Insurance Fund.

TRAINING Civil Protection continues to conduct practical trainings for disaster and accident protection. During this week such a teaching will be made by the students of OU "G. Benkowski".
