130 years since the April Uprising in Velingrad were marked with school events. The fifth graders from Sts. Cyril and Methodius" made a disputed quiz in the big hall of the municipality, and students from seventh and eighth grade of SOU "V. Levski "also measured their knowledge of the uprising and received awards from the school board. The representative brass orchestra and the cheerleading squad of Velingrad took part in the celebration of the anniversary in Panagyurishte.

SESSION 31 are the items on the agenda for the April 27 Municipal Council meeting. Annual reports and balance sheets are expected to present all municipal companies and those with municipal participation. A crisis management plan will be adopted and an account will be given of the official delegation's visit to Yunfu, China.
