The Municipality of Velingrad celebrated 25 April - the day when Bulgaria signed the Treaty of Accession to the European Union. On the morning of April 25, the flags of Bulgaria and the EU were hoisted in front of the municipality building under the sounds of the Bulgarian national anthem and the EU anthem "Ode to Joy" and a short celebration was held with the participation of the municipal leadership. The day was unschooled for the students of the municipality.

SESSION The regular meeting of the Municipal Council for the current month will be held on April 28 at Kamena Hotel. The councillors will meet outside the municipality building as there will be no electricity on the designated one. In the long agenda of 45 points is a concept for the Central Mineral Beach, the problem with the microbiological laboratory, setting prices for use of the water supply network for mineral water, shifting the signs "Vignette" and many fillings on the cadastral plan.

Ethnographic Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Historical Museum Velingrad, Center for Armenian Language and Culture - Sofia and Society of Armons in Velingrad opened on April 21 at the Ethnographic Museum in Plovdiv the exhibition "The Armons in Bulgaria".

EXPERIENCE On April 21, a working meeting between municipal councilors from Velingrad and Vidin took place in Kamena, where the local parliament numbered 37 councillors from 10 parties. Regional development programs and municipal property issues were discussed. The guests showed interest in the development of tourism and the exploitation of mineral springs. Unemployment was also discussed, which in Vidin is very high.

CLEANING Earth Day initiatives April 22 were rescheduled by the municipality for April 28. Then a cleaning will take place with the participation of the municipal administration and the students.
