Due to the growing tension among the people of Kamenitsa district that their Sulfur Bath has continued to be closed for months, I would like to inform you that I had a telephone conversation with Dr. Ilsa Popova. You know that Sulfur, Kremuchna and Velyova Banya are in the assets of "Specialized Hospitals for Rehabilitation -National Complex" - branch Velingrad, whose director is Dr. Popova. She committed by the end of July the bathroom to be repaired and the HEI to allow it to work. It is already the month of August, and Sulfur Bath not only does not work, but it is not being repaired, and its plundering has already begun.
Dear fellow citizens,
The municipality of Velingrad is a correct partner. We made a commitment to tile the entrance and the approaches to the flint bath and to make sure that the disabled could also get to the bathroom freely and we fulfilled it. I also want to believe that the commitment made by Dr. Popova will begin to be implemented in the near future, so as not to ruin Sulfur Bath, which is also a monument of culture.
