On 26 March was held the competition announced by the municipality for maintenance of cleanliness and landscaping on the territory of Velingrad, Yundola, Sarnitsa and Pobit Kamak. 7 companies purchased documents for participation, and 5 of them submitted the requested deposit of BGN 10,000 and appeared at the competition itself. The competition among the candidates was contested: the municipal company responsible for the cleanliness of decades "Stroycom" Ltd.; the Bulgarian-German company successfully operating in more than 15 regional cities whose Bulgarian-German company "Sheele-Bulgaria" Ltd.; the newly registered "Comunal 2002" Ltd. - Velingrad with representative Traycho Proychev and with the support of a stable company from the industry cleaning in Plovdiv and Asenovgrad; BKS "Lyulin contest" Ltd. The offers were evaluated by a committee appointed by the mayor Dr. Dafov chaired by Deputy Mayor Snezhana Veleva (although until now the other Deputy Mayor A dealt with the issues of cleanliness. "Beev and Beev" and "Comunal 2002" were reported to have contracts with subcontractors. The Commission has assessed tenders under 8 criteria, among which the most weighting is the economic viability of the proposal. Each of the members of the committee has made their own ranking by points, and the final result is the sum of the individual rankings. Due to technical errors made by Comunal 2002, their bid was not evaluated. On March 20, the chairman of the committee Snezhana Veleva officially announced the ranking of the companies: firstly "Beev and Beev", secondly "Sheele-Bulgaria" and thirdly "Stroycom". However, the commission did not provide any details about the offers themselves. The 7-day period in which each of the participants has the right to appeal is still running. The mayor of the municipality Dr. Dafov is about to conclude a contract with the first-ranked Beev and Beev Ltd. According to the pre-announced terms, the contract is indefinite, but at least for 48 months with the possibility of termination after 6 months' notice. The company will be responsible for all cleaning and snow removal activities, maintenance and exploitation of the landfill for household waste, complete landscaping of the city and waste collection and disposal in the villages of Yundola, Sarnitsa, Draginovo and Pobit stone. The annual amount of the amounts that the municipality will pay to Beev and Beev will be determined by the Municipal Council. For 2002. The amount voted by the councillors is 580,000 leva for the cleanliness plus 150,000 leva for landscaping. It is not clear what the fate of the municipal company Stroycom will be with manager Tanya Goncheva, who lost the public procurement and practically remains without main activity.
