On May 27 this year. The mayor of the municipality Dr. Dafov sent a warning letter to the concessionaires of Women's Bath "M and T Proychevi". The occasion was the excavation for a pool next to the bathroom, for which the municipality had made a number of prescriptions. The deadline for their implementation was May 15, but also after its expiration by "M and T Proychevi" have not fulfilled them and have not presented to the municipality the necessary permits from the Institute of Monuments of Culture (Women's Bath has the status of a cultural monument and therefore coordination is needed for any change).
In the letter, the mayor reminds that there is no planned construction of a pool in the signed concession contract between the municipality and the company. Therefore, the municipality considers that the excavation works carried out are contrary to the contract and can serve for its unilateral termination. M and T Proychevi are given a 7-day period to bury the trench and a 14-day period to restore the original appearance of the terrain and its landscaping.
