In connection with the reduction of the bills on which the garbage charges are set, the head of the Tax Office - Velingrad Nikolay Mitsinov announced that this would not create major problems in collecting and recalculating the new amounts. He specified that new tax announcements would probably not be sent because the time for payment of the first installment is approaching. People will carry the notifications already received and the changes will be recalculated on site. If there are people who have already paid the amounts due for the whole year, the money given in the more will not be returned, but will be equalized in the following year. It will be easier with those who have paid only the installment for the first quarter. When the remaining installments are paid, they will be reduced from the amount and will pay the lower price by the end of the year. The Tax Office reported that at the moment there is poor payment of local taxes and fees, but in this period of the year this is normal. Moreover, people were startled by the significantly higher taxes, and some of them even claimed that they would not pay them. Now, with the reduction of the garbage fee, it is expected to intensify the payment and increase the collection rate.
