Seven members of the inspectorate of the Bulgarian Tourist Union last week circulated to the media an open letter accusing the Executive Secretary of BTS Ventsislav Udev of financial abuse. The Inspectorate is the BTS control body that has access to the financial affairs of the Union.
According to the letter, funds were siphoned from BTS sites in large sizes through the company "Expresstourist Trading", of which Mr. Udev is the manager. Among the mentioned sites is the Tourist Complex "Kyslovodsk" in Velingrad, for whose property the municipality never managed to fight.
