Dressed, immutable, radiant, silent... Behind these poetic definitions there can only be beauty. In fact, they are the names of some of the exhibits in the new, second consecutive solo exhibition of the master of written eggs Daniela Tsopanova. A year ago, she surprised with a real "explosion" of amazing Easter eggs, and now she stayed true to her style of serving something new and arranged "Easter Mood" - wax painting on eggs, wood and ceramics. The exhibition gathered many friends and admirers of Daniela's art on March 25, Annunciation - one of the brightest spring and Christian holidays. To remind that the Easter egg was primarily a Christian symbol, the author had invited choir members from the church choir to the Holy Trinity Temple, headed by prof. Valkanov to open the exhibition. And the difficult but exciting a cappella church chant became a spiritual connection between the people in the hall and God, whose resurrection we will celebrate in days to come. Iliana Kapsuzova, secretary of ONCH "Vasil Levski", opened the colors of spring nature in the gorgeous patterns of eggs painted by Daniela and wished exhibitions like this around the world. RDA/CBI Director Zhivko Milushev said that it was an honor for them to host the exhibition for the second time and to give a field of expression to local craftsmen and mastors. Georgi Kumanov, an ethnologist at the Historical Museum, emphasized the connection of Daniela's creation with tradition: the red Easter egg painted with white wax is typical of Chepinsko. But he also discovered the new, the experiment in patterns, ornaments, materials like wood and ceramics. According to him, the experiment was very successful, and Daniela earned the title of "writer" and defended it in the best way last summer in Etara as a worthy representation of the tradition and craftsmanship of the masters from Chepinsko.
"Thank you to everyone who supports me in this little madness. I want our Easter decoration to develop," said Daniela Tsopanova. And through what is shown in the exposition, it clearly shows the direction of this development: preserving the traditional for the Easter egg color and pattern and transferring it to new forms such as wooden applets and ceramic tiles. Thus, Daniela took another step forward towards her old dream - the Velingrad Easter egg to become that valuable souvenir that everyone would like to take with them as a memory and symbol from Velingrad.
And next year a new step and a new surprise - with a little madness and with a lot of talent, labor and love.
