At the end of last working week, the order for dismissal of the director of the Municipal Service "Social Policy" Ibrahim Teber became a fact. This is another staff cast in the service after the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy fired the previous director Diana Stamenkova months ago.

A possible dismissal of Mr. Teber was spoken of informally a month ago. Rumors of a staff dispute with the long-standing municipal councilor of the MRF provoked a reaction from the Municipal Council - Velingrad. At the suggestion of the councilor Nikola Vetsov, all members of the local parliament unanimously voted a declaration declaring their support for Mr. Teber and in principle against the political dismissals of municipal councilors. Learned about the change councillors commented that apparently no one is interested in their opinion, even when it concerns the most neuralgic service in the municipality. A petition in support of Ibrahim Teber also made several Roma organizations that wrote to the MLSP that he knows his work and is always responsive to their problems.
