During the parliamentary scrutiny on 19 October, MP Tatiana Doncheva (BSP) asked the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Mehmed Dikme. Mrs. Doncheva told the odyssey to a former director of forestry in Rakitovo, who was once fired by ex-minister V. Varbanov, then reinstated by decision of the Supreme Court and two days later again fired on the grounds of lack of professional qualities for the position.

The case told in the parliament is known in the region - it is about Stoyan Dobchev and the director post in Rakitovo State Forestry. Minister Dikme responded from the parliamentary tribune that he intends to firmly adhere to the competition beginning in appointments of managerial staff. He announced that the dismissals and appointments in the forest system are already being ordered by the head of the National Forest Management after written coordination with the relevant Deputy Minister - former BSP MP Meglena Plugchieva. Mr Dikme said he would respect judicial decisions as an independent institution on matters relating to the recovery of persons following a court decision and in line with the idea of a competitive start. Ms. Tatiana Doncheva did not miss to note that after the elections Pazardzhik emerged as a strong region with its own mechanisms of cadruvanization.
