On July 17, a local structure of the Bulgarian Democratic Union "Radikali" was established in Velingrad - the newly created party led by Yevgeny Bakardzhiev.
The founders in Velingrad discussed general political problems of the country and the city in particular. Mr. Tsvetan Manchev was present from the central management of Radikali. At the first meeting for chairman of BDS "Radikali" in Velingrad was elected Mrs. Elena Yaneva-Zisova. She is a psychologist by education, married, has two daughters.


As a task of the local radicals Mrs. Yaneva-Zisova warned to overcome the decline of trust in right-wing parties and ideas, to work on the difficult task of compacting the right space with new political forces and to unite the center-right and right-wing formations.
