Three silver medals were won by Vilma Mihailova from Chepinets Swimming Club at the state personal and team swimming championship for boys and girls born in 1993, which took place on 19 and 20 June (Saturday and Sunday). "Merry Dolphin". Under excellent conditions, good weather and good organization, the little sister of the already famous Polina Mihaylov - Vilma fought for the silver medals in three disciplines: 50 m. butterfly, 50 m. freestyle and 100 m. back.
The competition was attended by 186 contestants from 30 clubs in the country, with the best performance of the swimmers of Levski-Spartak, who won the most awards. One Republican record was also broken at the top. That's what he did in the 100m. freestyle Teddy Barzanova from Levski-Spartak. As the previous week, when the competitions from the state championship for children born in 93-94 were held, so now the organizers were the Bulgarian Swimming Sports Federation and the Chepinets Swimming Club. The chief judge was Hristo Doksinov from the Chepinets PC, and the chief organizer was Vasilis Dianidis from Plovdiv. The competition was also attended by swimmers from the other city swimming club - Belmeken, but failed to qualify at the top positions.
