PC "Belmeken" is gaining success in the aquatlon

The town of Banya, Plovdiv region, hosted the state aquatlon championship on June 5. In five age groups competed aquathlonists from all over the country, including 19 participants from the Belmeken Swimming Club - Velingrad with coach Yordanka Penina.
In the smallest, the aquathlon includes a 500 m run, a 100 m swim and again a 500 m run. Gold medal in girls won Vangelina Draganova, and in boys bronze medalist is Halem Hamun from PC "Belmeken".
11-12 year old aquatlonists start under the same conditions. In their age group gold won Nikola Gil, and bronze Natalia Tomova.
Ivelina Ganeva is a silver medalist in 13-14 year olds who run 1000 m, swim 200 meters and finish after another 1000 m run.
At the age of 15-16, the aquathlon includes 1.5 km of running, 400 m of swimming and another 1.5 km of running. Bronze medal won by Ventsislava Lekina. Among the youths in Group IV, the disciplines are 2.5 km running, 1 km swimming and 2.5 km running. Marin Rusinov from PK Belmeken ranked fourth. The same are the distances in women, where Anna Zakhova is a bronze medalist.
Among the top eight in the ranking of the different age groups found a place and the other contestants of PK "Blemeken": the youngest participant - 9-year-old Anna Gargova, Tsvetelina Rusinova, Zapryan Topuzov, Gergana Poibrenska, Georgi Toporchev, Dimitar Zhelev, Nuria Tomova, Ivan Zinkov, Angel Matsanov, Nikolay Seimenov and Hristo Spasov.
